Reunification of all Zo tribes!

The reunification of all Zo tribes will require us to define the meaning of the Zo first.

So, what is Zoism? It is being Zo. What the heck is Zo about? Zo is a community, a tribe or at best a nation which is yet to find its own set of boundaries to define itself in the world. In fact, there is no proper definition of the Zo community. We can put across in many ways though.

Zo includes several tribes living in South and South-east Asia covering countries like India, Myanmar and Bangladesh. In another word, they are the people living in the borders of the said countries. They go by various names like Kuki, Mizo, Zomi, Lai, Pawi, Mara, Lakher, Chin, Thado, Ralte, Paite, Bawm, Pang, Lusei, Lushai, and many more smaller tribes inhabiting the states of Manipur, Mizoram, Eastern Tripura, Eastern Bangladesh specially Chittagong Hill Tracts, Western Myanmar states like Chin state and Rakhine State.

More than anything else they are enjoined together by Zoism which is rather difficult to define.

Lately, we have many blogs and websites focussing on the reunification of the whole Zo community who are now separated by international boundaries.

What is also appalling to know is that many of them do not know they will have so much potential and will command much power if they unite as one unit in the region rather than bigger tribes trying to dominate smaller tribes and the latter one trying to assert its presence within the bigger community.

Many intellectuals in the region have tried to explore ways in which unity might be achieved. But the core issue could well be recognizing the existence of many small tribes within the larger Zo community which will be a stabilizing and leading factor from now on.

This is a random post without much research on the subject matter.
